My friend Melanie had this posted on her blog and I thought it sounded like fun. The video is touching and expresses the idea that we were all born to create. Small things, big things, temporal things, spiritual things. Watch the video and then read the rules below:
The first 5 people to respond to this post will get something from me!
My choice, handmade, for you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year.
4- You have no clue what it will be (nor do I at this point).
If you would like to re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog, be my guest. The first 5 people to leave me a comment telling me that they want to receive a homemade gift from me will indeed receive one. And, be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Yea - I get to be first. A couple weeks ago we had stake conference that was broadcast from SLC and Pres Uchtdorf spoke on the same subject. Great video - I look forward to seeing what you create. Makes me want to make something too.
I loved that! I am going to send it to Kay. I get a prize! Yeah!
Are you for real? That is so nice. I was just asked to share some homemade gifts I had given at enrichment night at church. I had to dig REALLY deep to come up with things. I realized I mostly make things for my nieces or nephews because they don't notice all the mistakes.
So I watched the clip after my comment. I was at the conference center for that talk and LOVED it. Thanks for the reminder
hi mom
nice video
Did I make it? I see Jana has two comments so I'm hoping I'm number 5!
I finally had a few minutes to watch the video and I loved it. I am anxious to read the rest of his talk. I posted the 'first five' a few weeks ago on my blog but it seems more meaningful after watching that.
WHO POSED AS ME!!!!!!!!!!!
The life of a 10 year old is an imposter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I still get a prize though right?
